Standard & Poor’s raises Danske Bank’s ratings

 

Standard & Poor’s has raised Danske Bank Group’s long-term rating to A from A- and its short-term rating to A-1 from A-2. S&P has also changed the outlook for the Group’s ratings from stable to negative.

 

“One of our 2015 targets is to improve our ratings by at least one notch,” says Henrik Ramlau-Hansen, CFO of Danske Bank. “The upgrade from Standard & Poor’s is a good step forward in our efforts to achieve our strategic goals.”
