Copenhagen, 2014-05-01 16:10 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alm. Brand Bank today received permission from the Danish FSA to repay a subordinated loan of DKK 200,000,000. The loan is part of the ScandiNotes V bond series. The loan will be repaid on 3 June 2014.
Due to the new capital adequacy rules (CRD IV), as from 1 January 2014 this loan ceased to be eligible for inclusion in the bank's total capital. The repayment consequently has no impact on the bank's excess cover.
