Brian Fargo is a noted video game designer, producer and executive. He is the founder of Interplay Entertainment and InXile Entertainment - and is known for creating seminal titles in the video game industry such as Bard's Tale, Battle Chess, Baldur's Gate, and the critically acclaimed Wasteland.
In 1983, Fargo founded Interplay which by the mid 1990's grew to more than 600 employees. He took the company public in 1998. In 2002, Fargo created InXile Entertainment which found success in a new category of downloadable games, such as Line Rider and Fantastic Contraption, continuing Fargo's string of hit games into a fourth decade.
