MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Named to $900 Million Multiple Award IDIQ Contract by the U.S. Air Force to Provide Homeland Defense and Security Research and Analysis Services

DAYTON, Ohio, May 5, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that it has been awarded a  five-year, multiple award Indefinite-delivery/Indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the United States Air Force (USAF). The IDIQ has a program ceiling of $900 million.

Under the terms of the Homeland Defense and Security Technical Area Tasks (HD TATs) IDIQ, MacB will provide Homeland Security-related research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) and advisory and assistance services (A&AS). Specific work will be related to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense, homeland defense and security, critical infrastructure protection, weapons of mass destruction, biometrics, medical, cultural studies and alternative energy focus areas.

The ordering period is for one year, with four one year option periods with work expected to be completed by April 2019. MacB is one of 12 prime contractors named to the HD TATs IDIQ contract.
