Chemung Financial Shareholders Re-elect Directors


ELMIRA, N.Y., May 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Chemung Financial Corporation, the holding company of Chemung Canal Trust Company and CFS Group, Inc., announced that its Shareholders have re-elected six members to the corporation's Board of Directors. The announcement was made May 8th, during the Corporation's Annual Shareholders Meeting.

Re-elected to the Board were: Larry H. Becker, Chief Operating Officer of Windsor Development Group, Inc.; Bruce W. Boyea, Chairman, President & CEO of Security Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York; Steven M. Lounsberry, III, President of Applied Technology Manufacturing; Eugene M. Sneeringer, Jr., Principal in the firm of Sneeringer Monahan Provost Redgrave Title Agency, Inc.; G. Thomas Tranter, Jr., President of Corning Enterprises; and Thomas R. Tyrrell, Albany (NY) area Chairman of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Each Director, except Mr. Tyrrell, was re-elected for a three year term. Mr. Tyrrell was re-elected for a two year term.

Mr. Lounsberry has served as a Director since 1995. Mr. Becker, Mr. Boyea and Mr. Sneeringer have been members of the Board since 2011 and Mr. Tranter & Mr. Tyrrell joined the Board in February 2014. All Directors of Chemung Financial Corporation are also Directors of Chemung Canal Trust Company.
