AudioCodes (Nasdaq:AUDC), a provider of converged voice solutions, has received Recommended status for use of its 420HD IP Phone with the Interactive Intelligence all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center (CIC).

The AudioCodes 420HD IP Phone gives Interactive Intelligence customers a reliable, high-definition VoIP endpoint, which can be used in both on-premises and cloud deployments. The validated interoperability also gives customers faster deployment with integrated phone provisioning.

"The AudioCodes 420HD IP Phone gives our joint customers a cost-effective, feature-rich phone suitable for the most demanding business and contact center environments," said Michael Shrall, senior director of global alliances for Interactive Intelligence.

"Our investment to achieve Recommended status assures our joint customers that they're getting a tested and proven solution for maximum reliability, along with a fast and smooth deployment," said Yehuda Herscovici, vice president of products for AudioCodes. "A key benefit for CIC customers is that they now have an opportunity to reduce training and simplify support by getting their gateways, SBCs and IP Phones from a single supplier."

Vendors that pass Interactive Intelligence interoperability testing have met stringent requirements for installation, configuration, documentation and support. Testing covers performance, reliability and SIP interoperability. Vendors that achieve Interactive Intelligence Recommended IP Phone status have demonstrated best-in-class capabilities, and are required to have provisioning integration support for CIC.

AudioCodes will be featuring the 420HD IP Phone, along with other networking solutions at the Interactive Intelligence global customer and partner conference, INTERACTIONS 2014, to be held June 2-5, 2014 in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A.

AudioCodes has partnered with Interactive Intelligence since 2001, and has achieved both Recommended and Validated status with CIC for a number of other products, including Session Border Controllers and VoIP Gateways.
