The following information is based on a press release from Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft (Volkswagen) published on May 13, 2014 and may be subject to change.
It is announced that Volkswagen has over 90 percent of the total amount of shares in Scania AB (SCV B, SE0000308280).
If Volkswagen, as a result of the offer, acquires more than 90 % of the share capital of Scania AB, NASDAQ OMX Global Index Group will act and adjust SCV B in accordance to the “Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the VINX All-Share, Benchmark, Tradable and Sector Indexes”, Version 2.1, rule 5.8.
SCV B will therefore be removed from VINX Benchmark Index effective on May 16, 2014. Last inclusion date for SCV B will be May 15, 2014. There will be no replacement of the constituent in the index until the next semi-annual review is effective.
