MacAulay-Brown, Inc. CEO Keynotes Dayton National Contract Management Association Leadership Summit

DAYTON, Ohio, May 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that on April 29, MacB President and CEO, Sid Fuchs, provided the keynote address to the Dayton Chapter of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Leadership Summit. The event was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Speaking to local business and community leaders, Fuchs focused much of his remarks on the importance of creating and sustaining successful professional relationships. "Successful strategic networking is an art form to be mastered," Fuchs told the audience. "Trust is the currency of all relationships. Without trust, everything breaks down and a strategic, productive network cannot exist."

Continuing on the theme, Fuchs counseled, "When you need a relationship, it's too late to build it. You have to create and foster relationships before they become necessary. Remember to focus on giving more than you expect to receive."

"We were honored to have someone with Sid's impressive credentials speak at our annual leadership summit," said Joe Skinner, President of the NCMA Dayton Chapter's Board of Directors. "His thought provoking presentation on strategic networking made it clear that we should view our networks as an opportunity to build long lasting relationships by focusing on helping others as much as we can."

The Dayton Chapter of the NCMA provides a variety of professional continuing education, training, leadership development and networking opportunities to government and industry contracts management professionals within the greater Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and contracting community.
