COR&FJA AG plans to change its name to msg life ag
(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 16 May 2014) - COR&FJA AG (ISIN DE0005130108)
intends to change its company name to 'msg life ag'. The proposal to amend
the company's articles will be submitted for resolution to the upcoming
Annual General Meeting on 26 June 2014. With this step, COR&FJA's further
integration into the msg Group will be advanced, also visibly from the
outside, and the msg Group's overall presence as a brand in the global
insurance business will be strengthened considerably. The intention is that
the renaming scheduled for 1 October 2014 should be applied to as many of
COR&FJA's European subsidiaries as possible.
Since its successful strategic realignment in the financial year ended,
COR&FJA in Europe has been concentrating on its core business concerning
all aspects of the development and implementation of standard software
solutions for life insurance companies. In recent years, moreover, COR&FJA
has been intensifying its cooperation with its major shareholder msg and
its subsidiaries so that it will be able to offer an integrated portfolio
across all insurance segments and all core processes of insurance
companies.
In order to expand this successful approach further, msg would like to
present itself on the market as uniformly as possible in the future. In
connection with this, it plans to make COR&FJA's products and consulting
services an integral part of the msg Group portfolio for the life insurance
market.
With its workforce of more than 4,500 employees and planned turnover of 605
million euros in 2014, as well as a solid long-term earnings trend, the msg
Group is one of the leading providers of IT solutions for the insurance
industry. As the largest company in this successful group, COR&FJA will
become a partner of even greater strategic importance for its customers and
an even more attractive employer for its staff. Apart from that, COR&FJA's
