Dr. Pishvaian is a gastro-intestinal oncologist focused on translational cancer care. His area of focus is the development of rational combinations of novel, targeted anti-cancer agents, with a particular emphasis on pancreatic cancer, and refractory colorectal cancer. Dr. Pishvaian is principal investigator on several clinical trials, including Phase I trials, and Phase II trials for patients with colorectal and pancreatic cancer. Each of Dr. Pishvaian's trials are heavily focused on the acquisition and analysis of patient tumor biopsies to identify molecular markers that are predictive of response to therapy.
