Highmount Capital expands its ownership to include five long-standing employees as Principals.

Below is some background on Highmount's new Principals:

Gautam Chhada joined Highmount in September 2004 and has both portfolio management and client relationship management responsibilities. He is actively involved in the investment decisions of the firm and is a voting member of the Investment Policy Committee. Gautam received his BA in finance from Boston University and is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) and the CFA Institute.

Susan Milona joined Highmount in January 2005 and works with the firm's clients to develop and implement customized estate planning structures and vehicles. Susan oversees Highmount Fiduciary LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Highmount that operates in the state of Massachusetts and provides professional fiduciary services to Highmount clients. She holds a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and a LL.M from Boston University School of Law. Susan is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a member of the Boston Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and a former co-chair of the Boston Bar's Trusts & Estates Section.

Stephanie Power joined Highmount in September 2002 and has client relationship management responsibilities. She oversees the firm's Daily Money Management services as well as the firm's accounting and human resources functions. Stephanie is a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM) and a graduate of Rutgers University.

Kristen Siciliano joined Highmount in April 2003 and oversees the firm's Client Service team. In addition to her client service and trust administration duties, Kristen is a member of the Trust Investment and Trust Discretionary committees for Highmount Fiduciary LLC. Kristen received her BS in accounting at Merrimack College.

David Thompson joined Highmount in October 2008 and oversees the firm's taxable and tax-exempt bond strategies. He is actively involved in the investment decisions of the firm and is a voting member of the Investment Policy Committee. David is a CFA charterholder and earned a BSBA with a concentration in Economics from the University of Denver as well as an MBA from the Olin School of Management at Babson College. He is a member of both the Boston and New York Security Analyst Societies and serves on the BSAS's wealth management committee. David also serves on the Advisory Board of Babson's Cutler Financial Center, and is a board member and past president of Boston Economics Club.
