Grammer Presents World's First Complete System Comprising a Seat and
Multifunctional Armrest
Amberg, Germany / May 22, 2014 - Thanks to a newly developed
multifunctional armrest, Grammer AG is the world's only supplier of
complete driver seat systems with integrated electronic control elements.
They are mainly appropriate for offroad vehicles such as forklifts,
construction and agricultural machines. They are based on Grammer's
well-known seat systems, which can be supplied in the future ex factory
together with the new integrated multifunctional armrest.
For operating vehicles, the multifunctional armrest features fingertip
controls, switches, forward and reverse switch and an emergency button, and
is compatible with all popular control software standards.
Customer-specific adaptations are also easy to implement, for example a
joystick via an electronic interface. With that, Grammer can provide a
complete seat and control system including hardware and software solutions.
