LOS ANGELES, May 22, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank, California's premier private and business bank, announced today that it has hired Ted Bojorquez to serve as its senior vice president and manager of commercial banking services in San Jose.
Bojorquez leads a team that is responsible for delivering the bank's full range of credit, depository, trade finance, and cash management services to mid-sized companies, as well as complementary services such as real estate lending and equipment leasing. His team also works in tandem with City National's private client services and wealth management divisions to provide trust, investment management, brokerage and advisory services to business owners.
Bojorquez joins City National after six years as a team leader for U.S. Bank in San Jose. During that time, he started the bank's first Bay Area office, hired a team to serve the region, developed strategy, and wrote credit policy. Before joining U.S. Bank in 2008, he held various executive positions in finance, operations management and business development for a number of technology-focused companies in and around San Jose. He began his career at Union Bank.
Bojorquez earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Santa Clara University.
