Ad hoc-Notification pursuant to section 15 (1) WpHG

B. Braun notifies withdrawal of lawsuit against amendment of articles of
association regarding "90 %-Clause"

B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG ("Braun") has notified the company today
that it has withdrawn  its lawsuit against the resolution of the general
meeting of 12 June 2013 to abolish the qualified majority requirement of
more than 90 % for certain important resolutions of the general meeting in
the article of association of the company ("Amendment").

The Company welcomes the withdrawal of the lawsuit by Braun.

However, besides Braun three other plaintiffs have filed lawsuits against
the Amendment. These lawsuits are still pending. The Amendment will only
become effective upon registration in the commercial register. The
commercial register has suspended the registration process due to the
pending lawsuits.
