NEW ORLEANS, May 27, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC ("KSF") and KSF partner, the former Attorney General of Louisiana, Charles C. Foti, Jr., remind investors that they have until July 28, 2014 to file lead plaintiff applications in a securities class action lawsuit against Provectus Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE:PVCT), if they purchased the Company's securities during the period between December 17, 2013 and May 22, 2014, inclusive (the "Class Period"). This action is pending in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

What You May Do

If you purchased shares of Provectus and would like to discuss your legal rights and how this case might affect you and your right to recover for your economic loss, you may, without obligation or cost to you, call toll-free at 1-877-515-1850, or email KSF Managing Partner Lewis Kahn (lewis.kahn@ksfcounsel.com) or KSF Partner Melinda Nicholson (melinda.nicholson@ksfcounsel.com). About the Lawsuit

Provectus and certain of its executives are charged with issuing a series of materially false and misleading statements during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws.

On January 23, 2014, a TheStreet.com article alleged that Provectus misled investors about the prospects for its drug PV-10. On May 20, 2014, another TheStreet.com article stated that Provectus's original description on its website of PV-10 describing it as a "breakthrough" cancer drug was amended to an "investigational." On May 21, 2014, a Seeking Alpha article highlighted the Provectus's failure to begin Phase 3 trials of PV-10 and stated that "PVCT is connected to questionable paid stock promoters whose other recommendations have recently been halted by the SEC."

On this news, the price of PowerSecure's shares plummeted.
