The Board of telecommunications company TEO LT, AB has appointed Andrius Šemeškevičius as the Head of Technology and IT Division. He will join TEO management team in August 2014 and will be responsible for development of technologies, management of information systems and infrastructure, technological basis for services.
A.Šemeškevičius will join TEO management team after nine years career in “Rimi Baltic” Group. For the last six years he was IT director for Baltic countries and was responsible for IT management of “Rimi” and „Supernetto/Säästumarket“ retail chain in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. New Head of Technology and IT Division has also worked as an IT manager in the companies “Krasta auto” and SBA Group company “Klaipėdos baldų prekyba” (Klaipėda Furniture Commerce).
38 years old A.Šemeškevičius has graduated from Vilnius Gedimino Technikos University and has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Engineering Informatics.
"TEO will give more attention and investment in development of IT services. I am glad that Andrius will bring to TEO management team his experience and competences from IT field. I hope that with him we will be able to focus more on customer experience, to offer more technological innovations and solutions that they need,” – Kęstutis Šliužas, TEO General Manager said.

By implementing organizational changes TEO aims to focus more on the customer experience. The changes are aimed at being closer to the customer, working more efficiently and offering them faster the most appropriate solutions. New structure of TEO will take effect in June 2014.
Andrius Šemeškevičius has 11,682 shares of TEO LT, AB that accounts to 0.0015 per cent of the total number of the Company’s shares and votes.
