Landis+Gyr to adopt TeliaSonera telecom services worldwide


TeliaSonera and Landis+Gyr, the Swiss headquartered energy company with
operations in 30 countries,  have concluded a five-year agreement on expert
services and telecommunications to almost 100 offices around the world, enabled
by TeliaSonera´s international IP network. The agreement is worth USD 10
million.
With this move, Landis+Gyr is able to consolidate its current multi-vendor
network service environment into one consistent and flexible operation using a
single service provider. TeliaSonera will provide a Managed Network services for
Landis+Gyr, coupled with cloud based Internet, Security, Application Performance
Monitoring, Expert and Consulting services that meets current as well as future
service requirements for capacity, prioritization, availability and service
quality. The Managed Network services will provide Landis+Gyr with scalable and
secure access to IT infrastructure globally ensuring effective response to
business demands.

Landis+Gyr has used TeliaSonera’s telecommunications services in Northern Europe
for over three years. During this time, Landis+Gyr has been impressed by
TeliaSonera’s ability to provide reliable service in terms of network service
availability and proactive fault management.
