MEDIA ADVISORY: New England Forestry Foundation to Release New Report on the Path to Sustainability at June 5th Gala


LITTLETON, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 4, 2014) - On Thursday, June 5th, World Environment Day, The New England Forestry Foundation (NEFF) will be releasing an in-depth report titled New England Forests - the Path to Sustainability. The report unveils the tremendous potential forests have to provide economic, environmental, and social benefits to the citizens of the region and includes 12 highlights showing how New Englanders can manage forests to give wildlife homes; provide more recreation; protect the region from climate change; and purify drinking water among many other benefits.

WHO:
The keynote speaker will be Jeremy Grantham, co-chair, The Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment which was founded in 1998 to protect and improve the health of the global environment. The event will include presentations by NEFF President Timothy Ingraham and Executive Director Robert Perschel and will be followed by a cocktail reception.
