CORFAC International Announces Featured Transactions in May


FALLS CHURCH, Va., June 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CORFAC International 2014 President Robert Tillsley, SIOR, announced four transactions that CORFAC (www.corfac.com) affiliates completed in May.

Fort Wayne, IN: Steven K. Zacher, SIOR, CCIM and Fletcher Moppert with The Zacher Company/CORFAC International represented both the buyer, FWA Venture, LLC and the seller, ARDI, LLC in the sale of a 278,850-square-foot industrial building located at 9801 Airport Drive. The property is adjacent to Fort Wayne International Airport in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The building is occupied by Peyton's Northern Distribution Center Inc., a division of Kroger. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Dallas, TX: For the second time this year, Mike Carlson of Sansone Group/CORFAC International in St. Louis, MO worked with a CORFAC affiliate in another part of the country on a new lease for Kelly Mitchell Group. Carlson referred Sharon Friedberg and Melanie Hughes at Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services/CORFAC International in Dallas to secure an 8,712-square-foot office lease at 1717 McKinney Avenue in Dallas. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. In April, Carlson completed an office lease for Kelly Mitchell Group with John Homsher, CCIM, of Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International in Chicago. St. Louis-based Kelly Mitchell Group is a premier technology consulting company dedicated to matching the most qualified IT professionals with top organizations nationwide.

Tempe, AZ: In an off-market deal featuring a 1031 Exchange, Commercial Properties, Inc./CORFAC International (CPI) of Tempe, AZ managed the $6.65 million sale of a 74,514-square-foot industrial property located at 1620 W. Sunrise Blvd. in Gilbert, Arizona. Jeff Hays and Chad Neppl represented the seller, MJA Investments, Inc., and Jim Stockwell and Mike Goldwater represented buyer Rhodes Family Trust in this transaction. All of the brokers are based in CPI's Tempe office. The reinforced concrete building is a single-tenant building that is leased to Stara Technologies, Inc. The property is located just north of Elliot Road and West of McQueen Road in Sunrise Business Park. Leroy Breinholt, a CPI principal, originally sold the lot for a build-to-suit project to LGE back in 2000. Hays and Neppl leased the building to Stara Technologies in 2012.

Richmond, VA: Kevin Cox with Porter Realty Company Inc./CORFAC International represented Impact Investments Group LLC in the $1 million acquisition of a two-story, 20,173-square-foot office building located at 2500 East Parham Road in Henrico, VA. Situated near the Henrico County Courthouse Complex, the property is a leased investment for the buyer. Tenants in the stand-alone building include a church, a healthcare company and an insurance provider.
