NEW YORK, June 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AlixPartners, the global business-advisory firm, has been honored by the German business magazine brand eins, in its 2014 ranking of the best consulting firms in Germany. AlixPartners was ranked No. 1 in interim management, No. 2 in restructuring and No. 3 in the chemicals and pharma sector.
The survey was conducted among 5,500 consultants and businesses during October 2013, in cooperation with Statista, a leading German research and statistics company. The poll asked for an evaluation of consultancies in different industry sectors and specialist expertise. In a second panel, an additional 174 high-ranking business executives representing Germany's prime standard stock index were interviewed. A total of 276 consulting firms made it to the rankings – out of 15,000 listed in Germany.
"AlixPartners' very reason for being is to help companies when it really matters – when they fall on hard times or face urgent, time-critical challenges," said Fred Crawford, the firm's CEO. "We are very proud that our specialist skills in turnaround and our industry expertise continue to be recognized around the world, and it is gratifying for our teams who make a big difference for our clients."
This study is brand eins' first evaluation of the consultancy industry; the publication is an award-winning business magazine.
