RainTree's unique aggregated data set, created with Information Builders' WebFOCUS and iWay technologies, represents the nation's largest footprint of community oncology information. It enables researchers to follow the complete patient journey from the time of diagnosis to the present day, furthering cancer research and promoting best practices for effective cancer treatments.
The Wendy's Company, the world's third largest quick-service hamburger company, created a BI portal and dashboard environment that integrates an enterprise point-of-sale system to deliver targeted reports with drill-down capabilities for decision-makers at every level of the company. WebFOCUS helps managers control costs and make informed decisions that improve the bottom line. Thousands of international and domestic franchises currently use WebFOCUS dashboards, helping Wendy's to improve profit margins at hundreds of restaurants.
Butler Health System, a community health system that provides healthcare services throughout Western Pennsylvania, created a WebFOCUS reporting portal, parameterized reports, and InfoAssist reporting objects to empower clinicians and administrators to identify diagnostic trends within its patient population. The BI system has enabled the organization to make qualitative improvements that meet government requirements and positively impact reimbursement rates. These dynamic, customizable online statements empower investors to securely monitor their retirement accounts and track their investments using interactive tables, charts, and graphs. Authorized users can compare account balances against contributions over any time period, drill down into investment performance, and see estimated retirement income extrapolated from current investment trends. The eStatements work interchangeably on computers, tablets, and smartphones, with secure single-sign-on to other account assets.
Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS), a state agency that offers public assistance programs, services and resources to vulnerable Oklahomans in need, uses BI technology to help caseworkers deliver food and nutrition, housing, transportation, and other social services. For example, caseworkers in Child Support Services use WebFOCUS to streamline the distribution of support to thousands of children. The BI environment enables Child Welfare caseworkers to efficiently address compliance issues, contacts, court reports, and treatment plans so they can effectively manage their caseloads for the protection of abused and neglected children.
