On 11 June 2014, the Government of the Republic of Lithuania decided to approve the draft resolution of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter, the Seimas) “On granting a state guarantee to the Nordic Investment Bank” and to present it to the Seimas. According to the draft resolution, it is intended to grant the state guarantee for a term up to 20 years of the amount of EUR 34 754 402 (LTL 120 million) for a loan to be taken by AB Klaipėdos Nafta (hereinafter, the Company) from the Nordic Investment Bank (hereinafter, the NIB), as the Company seeks to borrow this respective amount from the NIB to finance the project of the Liquified natural gas terminal in Lithuania.
