RALEIGH, N.C., June 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tessa Hultz, RCE, CAE the CEO of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) announced on behalf of the Board of Directors that Asa Fleming, the Immediate Past President for Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®, NC graduated from the 2014 National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy. Hultz said, "Asa is very active in many aspects of our REALTOR® community and the community at large. We are proud of his accomplishments and we appreciate his dedication and service. He sets a high bar."
The NAR Leadership Academy serves to identify, inspire and mentor emerging leaders for the organization. The REALTOR® participants were selected from the membership ranks through a rigorous application and interview process by an Advisory Group of peers and Association Executives. The 2014 graduates have completed a class project to identify and enrich their local areas through the application of REALTOR® Party grant money. The grant funding will help REALTORS® to promote wise growth planning for our community.
Fleming, a real estate professional for 15 years, is a Broker with Coldwell Banker Advantage in Raleigh and is currently an NAR Director and serves on the State and Local Issues Committee. On the state level, Fleming was a member of the North Carolina Association REALTORS® and chaired the Diversity Committee for two consecutive years (2012 & 2013). On the local level, Fleming was the President of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® in 2013, Dean of the Triangle REALTOR® Leadership Academy in 2011, and has served on and chaired several committees at RRAR.
Active in community and local affairs, Fleming serves on the City of Raleigh Appearance Commission and works with the Wake County Voters Education Coalition. Additionally, Fleming serves on the Boards of Directors for Marbles Kids Museum and Rebuilding Together of the Triangle. He and his wife Tangie reside in Raleigh, NC. They have two children.
