Residence Inn West Orange Hotel in NJ Hosts Employee Appreciation Week

WEST ORANGE, NJ--(Marketwired - Jun 12, 2014) - To honor the dedication, loyalty, and hard work of its associates, the Residence Inn West Orange recently hosted an Employee Appreciation Week, from May 18^th through 24^th at the hotel's chic, boutique location, in the heart of West Orange, NJ. The celebration was a huge success, with many associates enjoying a week full of food and fun surprises.

To start the week off in unforgettable fashion, the hotel's front desk associate and sales coordinator decorated the break room with large containers of balloons, each one including a different associate's name. Monday was hosted by the front desk staff and kitchen, and as each associate came to work, they were pleasantly greeted by fresh donuts and coffee, and later served pizza for lunch.

Tuesday was a celebration of enticing flavors, hosted by the kitchen staff, who celebrated with a signature margarita competition and lunch from Chipotle. The housekeeping department also showed their appreciation by hosting a refreshing afternoon of snow cones to help cool everyone down after parking lot Olympics.

On Wednesday, the engineering department hosted a dart contest along with an old fashioned BBQ. And to close out the week, the sales team set up a plunger contest and brought in a baked potato food truck to park at the West Orange NJ hotel and dish out delicious eats.

The week-long event was considered a huge success, thanks to the many talents and unique ideas of the Residence Inn's creative and dedicated staff. Teams came together, bonded and formed friendships while learning more about each other and fostering better morale for their day-to-day work.
