Orion Marine Group Announces a Contract Award of Approximately $10 Million


HOUSTON, June 12, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Orion Marine Group, Inc. (NYSE:ORN) (the "Company"), a leading heavy civil marine contractor serving the infrastructure sector, today announced a contract award of approximately $10 million.

The award from the City of Myrtle Beach, SC, is for the installation of a storm water outfall system. The installation will consist of approximately 1400 feet of dual 84" diameter concrete pipes and associated equipment.

Onsite construction of the project is expected to commence in the third quarter and last approximately 12 months.
