On June 11, 2014, Mr. Garrett Thornburg, New Mexico, United States has
informed us according to Article 21, section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
his voting rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg,
Germany, ISIN: DE0005785802, WKN: 578580 have fallen below the 3% threshold
of the voting rights on June 5, 2014 and on that day amounted to 2.97%
(this corresponds to 9,194,185 voting rights). According to Article 22,
section 1, sentence 1, No. 6 WpHG in connection with sentence 2 of the
WpHG, 2.97% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 9,194,185 voting
rights) are to be attributed to Mr. Garrett Thornburg.

On June 11, 2014, Thornburg Investment Management Inc., Santa Fé, New
Mexico, United States has informed us according to Article 21, section 1 of
the WpHG that via shares its voting rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG &
Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg, Germany, ISIN: DE0005785802, WKN: 578580 have fallen
below the 3% threshold of the voting rights on June 5, 2014 and on that day
amounted to 2.97% (this corresponds to 9,194,185 voting rights). According
to Article 22, section 1, sentence 1, No. 6 WpHG, 2.97% of the voting
rights (this corresponds to 9,194,185 voting rights) are to be attributed
to the company.
