(Nasdaq:IDCC), a wireless research and development company, will be demonstrating its solutions supporting carrier Wi-Fi capability and future network topologies at two industry events this week – CommunicAsia (Marina Bay Sands, Singapore) and Wi-Fi Offload Summit (Palo Alto, CA).
At the two conferences, InterDigital will be discussing technologies that can help drive future heterogeneous networks, involving Wi-Fi and other network assets. Currently, InterDigital's Smart Access Manager (SAM) is an intelligent connectivity and traffic management application that enables smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices to make intelligent network selection and traffic management decisions. The technology has been field trialed by top-tier operators worldwide.
