SRV has been selected to build the New Children’s Hospital in Meilahti, Helsinki. SRV and Kiinteistöosakeyhtiö Uusi Lastensairaala, the company developing the New Children’s Hospital, have today signed a contracting agreement. Construction is estimated to start in August this year and current aim is to open the hospital during 2017. A total value of the New Children’s Hospital project is EUR 160 million, of which SRV’s share is around EUR 81 million. The project requires planning approval and the granting of building permits, so schedule changes are possible.
