New York Mortgage Trust Declares Second Quarter 2014 Common Stock Dividend of $0.27 Per Share, and Preferred Stock Dividend


NEW YORK, June 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New York Mortgage Trust, Inc. (Nasdaq:NYMT) (the "Company") announced today that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.27 per share on shares of its common stock for the quarter ending June 30, 2014. The dividend will be payable on July 25, 2014 to common stockholders of record as of June 30, 2014.

In accordance with the terms of the 7.75% Series B Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock ("Series B Preferred Stock") of the Company, the Board of Directors declared a Series B Preferred Stock cash dividend of $0.484375 per share of Series B Preferred Stock for the quarterly period beginning April 15, 2014 and ending on July 14, 2014. This dividend is payable on July 15, 2014 to holders of record of Series B Preferred Stock as of July 1, 2014.
