Targa Resources Responds to Rumors and Trading Activity


HOUSTON, June 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Targa Resources Corp. (NYSE:TRGP) ("TRC" or the "Company") and Targa Resources Partners LP (NYSE:NGLS) ("Targa Resources Partners" or the "Partnership") announced today that they have previously engaged in high level preliminary discussions regarding a potential business combination with Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. and certain of its affiliates, but that those discussions have been terminated. There are no assurances whether or not discussions could resume or whether any agreement could be entered into in the future.
