Analogic Pays Tribute to Board Member Kevin Melia


PEABODY, Mass., June 20, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Analogic Corporation (Nasdaq:ALOG), enabling the world's medical imaging and aviation security technology, regrets to announce the passing of Kevin Melia, Analogic Director. Mr. Melia passed away on June 17, 2014, after battling a brief illness.

Analogic's Chairman of the Board, Ed Voboril, commented, "Kevin was a trusted friend and colleague. His wit and his wisdom were treasured by all of us. He will be truly missed."

Kevin Melia joined Analogic's Board of Directors in April 2009 and was a member of the audit and compensation committees. In addition to his service at Analogic, Mr. Melia had a long and distinguished career as a board member and senior executive across a wide range of companies and industries. At the time of his passing, Mr. Melia also served on the boards of RadiSys Corporation, DCC plc, Greatbatch, Inc., Manugistics Corporation, and Eircom, Inc.
