SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., June 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Matrix Medical Network®, a national leader in prospective health assessment services for Medicare Advantage plan members, is expanding its contact center operations again with the opening of a west-coast contact center in its Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters in August 2014. The company currently has contact center operations in Clearwater, Florida with nearly 300 employees. The new Scottsdale center location will initially add over 50 new jobs with plans for additional expansion in 2015.
The Matrix contact center schedules nearly 2,000 in-home health assessments daily for Medicare Advantage members, and coordinates the nationwide routing of more than 600 Matrix Nurse Practitioners who visit those members.
Matrix opened its first large-scale contact center in Clearwater, Florida in April 2012, and quickly expanded with a second building in September 2013. The new west-coast center comes on the heels of a record 2013 year for Matrix, when the company completed approximately 350,000 in-home visits. The popularity of Matrix in-home assessments has grown as health plans use them to serve the unmet health care needs of their members. In-home assessments are especially valuable for the more than 26% of Medicare Advantage members who have mobility issues that lead to potential difficulties in seeing their doctor.
Matrix Vice President, Contact Center Operations Wyatt Campbell noted that with the addition of the Scottsdale contact center, Matrix expects its 2014 contact center call volume to be at least four times greater than the number of calls handled in 2011.

The company's new Scottsdale contact center is set to open and be fully operational on August 18, 2014. Hiring for the center is already underway.
