ST. LOUIS, Mo., June 25, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Corporate financial wellness firm, Four Seasons Financial Education (FSFE), today announced the results of a new research survey - the 2014 FSFE Financial Wellness Survey . The survey, which includes 500 full time employees, shows that 32% of respondents "never" receive education from their retirement plan advisors. The survey included employees from across the United States.

The survey was conducted in response to numerous studies that say financial concerns are one of the top problems plaguing employee productivity*.

"Our findings confirm our premise that employers who provide financial wellness benefits to their employees are reducing costs and increasing productivity," said FSFE President, Travis Freeman. "We've worked with some very good retirement plan advisors that educate plan participants at least each year, but it appears there is a large employer segment that receives no education at all."

Freeman also cited retirement education as the primary reason for incoming calls from employers. Their firm provides financial wellness services on numerous topics, including retirement.

The 2014 FSFE Financial Wellness survey also asked employees about important financial topics of interest, EAP utilization, and the prevalence of wellness programs in the workplace. The full survey results, including demographic and methodology information, can be found at
