The certification allows Matrix health plan clients to fully delegate all of their credentialing responsibilities to Matrix and eliminate any need to either provide credentialing oversight or separately credential the Matrix Nurse Practitioners who see their members.

Matrix currently employs more than 600 Nurse Practitioners throughout the country and credentials approximately 150 to 200 clinicians monthly. As a part of the ongoing certification process, NCQA will audit Matrix biannually.
