NEW YORK, June 26, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AlixPartners, the global business-advisory firm, today announced the hiring of two new Managing Directors, based in Zurich. Beatrix Morath and Joost Geginat join AlixPartners from Roland Berger, where they were both senior partners.

Both have two decades of experience serving clients in restructuring and improving performance to enable long-term growth:
Morath played a key role in building the Swiss office of Roland Berger. Before moving to consulting, she was with Deutsche Bank Corporate Banking for three years. She is on the Advisory Board of the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich and serves on the supervisory board of the SCHILD Group, a leading Swiss retailer. She studied at Fachhochschule Pforzheim (Germany) / Hanzehogeschool Groningen (The Netherlands) where she studied Business Administration. Beatrix is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish.
Geginat has extensive experience serving clients in turnaround and restructuring across multiple industries in Southeast Asia and Europe. He serves on the board of the European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. He has an MBA (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the University of Cologne and a CEMS Master Degree from HEC, Paris. Joost speaks German, English and French.
