KPMG Corporate Finance LLC Acquires Investment Bank St. Charles Capital

Strengthens Position in Rapidly Growing Sectors; Technology, Financial Services and Energy


NEW YORK and DENVER, June 26, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- KPMG LLP's wholly owned subsidiary, KPMG Corporate Finance LLC ("KPMG CF") has acquired substantially all of the assets of St. Charles Capital, a boutique investment bank that provides M&A and capital advisory services for mid-market companies nationwide. The transaction will enhance KPMG CF's position as a leading mid-market investment bank and M&A advisor for companies in the technology, telecommunications, financial services, energy, and diversified industrials sectors.

The St. Charles Capital transaction comes on the heels of KPMG LLP's recent acquisition of a majority of the assets of corporate restructuring and advisory firm BBK, a leading player in the automotive and industrial manufacturing space.
