HAMILTON, Bermuda, July 1, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Overseas Group Limited (BSX:AORE.BH) (Pink Sheets:AORE) ("AOG" or the "Company") today announced that David Alexander, has been appointed Executive Vice President of the Company effective as of July 1, 2014. Mr. Alexander comes to the Company from Marsh IAS Management Services (Bermuda) Ltd., ("Marsh IAS"), the Island's largest Captive Management company, where he was Senior Vice President and was a member of the senior management team in Bermuda. Prior to Marsh, Mr. Alexander was Senior Vice President of International Advisory Services, Ltd. ("IAS"), managing a team of qualified accountants and other professionals responsible for the day to day operations of third party captive insurance clients. In addition, Mr. Alexander was responsible for the run off of the IPC Companies, the rent-a-captive operation of Mutual Risk Management Ltd. ("MRM"). Before joining MRM, Mr. Alexander held positions at Coopers and Lybrand in Bermuda, and Touche Ross and Scottish Provident Life Assurance Company in his native Scotland.
