World Famous Iconic New York Brand to Hold Soup Tasting on July 5th

NEW YORK, July 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Soupman, Inc. (OTCQB:SOUP), the parent company of the best-tasting soup brand in the world, The Original Soupman, announces its partnership with the Brooklyn Cyclones and its Seinfeld night, taking place on July 5 at MCU Park. As part of the partnership, The Original Soupman will join the actor who played "The Soupman" on Seinfeld, Larry Thomas, for a special tasting, including samples of the brand's famous soups, including Seinfeld fan-favorite Jambalaya, Crab Bisque and its famous lobster rolls.

"We are excited to support the Brooklyn Cyclones' Seinfeld Day by offering our soups and lobster rolls to the community that has supported us since we got our start in New York City more than 25 years ago, before the classic Seinfeld line, No Soup for You!," says Lloyd Sugarman, chief executive officer of Soupman, Inc. "Al Yeganeh's famous soups have captivated the city of New York and millions of its visitors with its imaginative, unique recipes and we look forward to continuing to share our menu favorites with soup enthusiasts for years to come."

During the event, The Original Soupman will be providing soups and lobster rolls from one of its SoupMobile™ food trucks, a part of the SoupMobile franchising program led by partner Shaquille O'Neal, along with Marcus Crawford of Amongst Elite LLC., in support of Al Feeds the Hungry Foundation. The joint venture has plans to add 100 SoupMobile trucks on the road in the next few years. Also in attendance will be Sgt. Dan the Soupman, a veteran U.S. Marine that served in the Iraq War, who has a franchise to operate a SoupMobile in Kansas City. Sgt. Dan the Soupman will throw the honorary "first pitch" at the game.
