RLHC Opens New Franchise in Renton, Washington

SPOKANE, WASH., July 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE:RLH) announced the company has opened a new franchise location in Renton, Wash., after signing an agreement with the owners in June. This is the sixth franchise agreement completed by the company in 2014. The Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center – Seattle/Renton, 1 S. Grady Way, is located at one of the busiest interchanges south of Seattle and Bellevue.

The hotel was formerly the Holiday Inn before recently becoming an independent property, the Rainier Hotel and Conference Center. The property features the Yankee Grill Restaurant, an outdoor pool and heated whirlpool, fitness center and complimentary Wi-Fi. With 7,000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel is known for its meetings and events. The city of Renton is on the south shore of Lake Washington in the Puget Sound, just six miles from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The hotel provides easy proximity to key Boeing training and manufacturing facilities, destination shopping at The Landing in Renton and one of the largest malls in the Northwest, Westfield Southcenter.
