REDONDO BEACH, Calif. – July 7, 2014 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has announced the promotion of two executives to vice president positions within the Aerospace Systems sector's engineering and global product development organization.

Patrick Neary has been appointed vice president of engineering for the sector's unmanned systems programs. Neary has been with Northrop Grumman for 28 years, most recently serving as director of systems integration and test and evaluation. During this assignment his organization successfully conducted several first flights of unmanned and optionally-manned aircraft and was successful with multiple spacecraft launch campaigns.

Neary is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. Additionally, he completed the Executive Leadership Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Brett Amidon also has been appointed vice president within the engineering and global product development organization. Amidon brings more than 26 years of experience at Northrop Grumman to the new position, including the past 15 years in leadership roles. Most recently he served as director of technology. Amidon also has held various positions in technical design, project management, project planning and engineering analysis.

Amidon earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and program management from Colorado Technical University and he holds numerous professional certificates.
