EVN AG: Refinancing of existing syndicated revolving credit facility

EVN AG concluded the premature refinancing of its syndicated revolving
credit facility with a consortium of 12 international banks as of 7 July
2014 and thereby benefited from the current attractive market environment.
The new EUR 400.0m credit line has a five-year term and includes an option
for two extensions of one year each.

"The premature extension of this credit line at favourable conditions
underscores the superb business relationships between EVN AG and its bank
partners", commented Stefan Szyszkowitz, member of the Executive Board, on
this successful transaction. The credit line serves primarily as a
liquidity reserve and is therefore strategically important for the stable
financing structure of EVN AG. The company's financial flexibility is
supported by this credit line, but also by bilateral credit commitments
totalling EUR 175.0m.
