pursuant to section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG)
that its share in the voting rights of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA,
Rheinlanddamm 207-209, 44137 Dortmund, Germany, on July 3rd, 2014 exceeded
the thresholds of 3% and 5% and at that day amounted to 9.06% (this
corresponds to 6,120,011 voting rights).

RAG-Stiftung, Essen, Germany, on July 4th, 2014 has given us notice
pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG that its share in the voting rights of
Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA, Rheinlanddamm 207-209, 44137 Dortmund,
Germany, on July 3rd, 2014 exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% and at that
day amounted to 9.06% (this corresponds to 6,120,011 voting rights),
whereby 9.06% (this corresponds to 6,120,011 voting rights) of the
aforementioned voting rights have to be attributed pursuant to section 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG. Attributed voting rights are held by the
following company under its control, whose share of the voting rights in
Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA amounts to 3% or more: Evonik Industries
AG, Essen, Germany.
