COREALCREDIT BANK AG is withdrawing its voluntary public commitment for
Pfandbriefe effective as of 8 August 2014.

In taking this step the Bank is reacting to the improvement in its bank
rating to BBB (long-term rating) and F2 (short-term rating) at the
beginning of April, for the most part driven by its takeover by the Aareal
Bank Group and the change in the criteria used by the rating agency with
regards to the overcollateralization requirements applying to mortgage
Pfandbriefe.

As a result of the improvement in the short-term rating to F2, the rating
agency Fitch does not need a public commitment any longer, and is instead
now applying the lowest overcollateralization actually kept over the last
12 months in its Pfandbrief analysis. This is with 14.9% in August 2013
well above the 13.0% communicated in the commitment, based on the
outstanding volume of mortgage bonds

COREALCREDIT BANK AG will also continue to uphold and preserve the good
quality of its cover pool and ensure transparency in the future as well.
