GeneNews Raises More Than $7 Million in Non-Brokered Private Placement

TORONTO, July 8, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GeneNews Limited ("GeneNews" or the "Company") (TSX:GEN), today announced that it has accepted subscriptions for a non-brokered private placement offering of its common shares for gross proceeds of $7,210,000. The private placement was previously announced on July 2, 2014. The offering will result in the issuance of 7 million common shares from treasury at a price of $1.03 per share.
