CANTON, Ga., July 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Blue Water Global Group, Inc. (OTCBB:BLUU) announces that it has expanded its rum lineup with the introduction of the Blue Water Caribbean Gold™ Premium Rum. Blue Water Caribbean Gold™ is a light spiced rum (35% alcohol/volume) developed to complement the flagship Blue Water Ultra Premium Rum™. Both rums will be launched simultaneously for retail sale later this summer on the island of St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies.
In an update to previous disclosures, production and bottling of both rums – as well as future rums under development – has been moved and will now be conducted in the Dominican Republic with the high-end luxury bottles being manufactured in China.
Blue Water's President and CEO, J. Scott Sitra, stated, "It is with great excitement that we introduce our second rum to the public. Blue Water Caribbean Gold™ Premium Rum is a delicious and extremely smooth naturally spiced rum that we believe will be well received by the retail market as a complementary product to our Blue Water Ultra Premium Rum™." The cost and economies of scale are much better and will enable us to have a lower retail price point while maintaining a healthy profit margin.
