General Manager of Raleigh Hotel Appointed to GRCVB Board of Directors

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwired - Jul 10, 2014) - Raleigh Marriott City Center is pleased to announce the appointment of General Manager Bill Hofmann to the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. Recently appointed by the Raleigh City Council, Hofmann will serve a two year term on the board, beginning this July.

Hofmann joined the team at Raleigh Marriott City Center in March of 2011, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the hotel in Raleigh, NC. As general manager he has defined the essence of leadership at the hotel, inspiring his team to exceed expectations at every level of operation. The new restaurant, named Rye, will feature true Southern Cuisine utilizing local suppliers and ingredients in its menu offerings.
