Two iAPPS Powered Websites Receive Internet Advertising Competition Awards From the Web Marketing Association

2014 Continues to be a Record-Breaking Year for Award-Winning iAPPS Websites

BURLINGTON, Mass., July 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (Nasdaq:BLIN), The Digital Engagement Company™, announced today that the Web Marketing Association has honored two iAPPS powered websites with the prestigious Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Award. The IAC Award recipients are Mizani (Best Catalog Website, Best Retail Website) and University of Delaware's College of Earth, Ocean, & Environment (General Outstanding Website).

The IAC judges are representative of the full spectrum of the online marketing industry, and all entries are judged on competitive criteria in a head-to-head format, facing other entries within their specific categories. These criteria include creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, use of the medium, and memorability.

As part of the L'Oreal product line, Mizani engaged Bridgeline to transform their web presence into an engaging web store. Powered by the award-winning iAPPS Content Manager, the completely overhauled website design boasts a conversion-based eCommerce experience, similar to the previous work Bridgeline completed for other L'Oreal products and brands, Matrix and Kerastase.

University of Delaware selected Bridgeline to develop their next generation website, because of the unique level of engagement, scalability and innovation the iAPPS platform offers. The primary function of their new, mobile-friendly website is to serve as a virtual classroom where professors can quickly and easily update pages, display projects, and post additional curriculum about upcoming classes. Moreover, with the new site, which boasts a fresh, engaging design, both current students and alumni have access to create their own personal pages.

"The Web Marketing Association's recognition of these specific websites is significant because it displays the range and versatility that the iAPPS platform offers to our customers," said Thomas Massie, Bridgeline Digital's Chief Executive Officer. "Whether an enterprise organization is looking for an eCommerce platform, multi-unit solution, or, in the case of University of Delaware, a stronger web presence for an academic institution, our team of digital experts and developers has consistently proven their ability to produce best-in-class websites across multiple industries by leveraging the innovation behind the iAPPS platform."
