Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. Announces Management Appointments

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 14, 2014) - Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SNA)(OTCBB:SNAVF) ("Star" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce the following Management appointments:

Mr. Amir Bhatti, P.Eng., M.B.A. (Ivey), has been appointed Senior Vice-President, Programs and Implementation. Amir has over 24 years of experience in the areas of airline maintenance operations, flight safety, flight data analysis and validation (FOQA & MOQA), as well as marketing and sales of aeronautical/aerospace products in the global aerospace/aviation industry. He is a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, a certified aircraft accident investigator and holds a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Mr. Tom Dudek, P.Eng., has been appointed Vice President, Engineering. Tom has over 15 years of leadership, management and engineering experience in Research and Development in both the public and private sectors. His expertise includes LCD manufacturing, testing and video equipment design for Industrial, Military and Avionic applications.

Mr. Jean-Louis Larmor has been appointed Vice-President, Corporate Development and Corporate Secretary. Jean-Louis brings to this position an extensive background in the Aerospace Industry. His experience ranges from company management, to strategic analysis, business development, program management, sales and support. Previous positions include Director - Thales International Canada, Director Business Development - Aerospace, Thales International, North America, Vice President- Strategy and Business Development, Sextant Avionique, and Marketing and Sales positions with Aerospatiale, France.

Mr. Neil A. Prasad has been appointed Vice-President, Global Sales. Neil brings over 12 years of international sales and business development experience, developing and implementing sales and business strategies that increased revenue and market share for multi-national organisations such as Boeing/Jeppesen, Intelisys Aviation Systems Inc. and the International Aviation Transportation Association ("IATA").
