71% of Employees Feel Financial Wellness Should Be Part of Their Employer's Wellness Program, According to New Research by FSFE

Four Seasons Financial Education finds employees want more for their wellness programs.

ST. LOUIS, Mo., July 15, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Financial wellness firm, Four Seasons Financial Education (FSFE), recently released the results of the 2014 FSFE Financial Wellness Survey, which included feedback from 500 employees across the United States. According to the survey, 71% of employees want their employer to include financial wellness as part of the company's wellness program. Almost half of those surveyed cited their employers had wellness programs in place, but only 27% of those employers have included financial wellness.

"We see this demand increasing over the next ten years as employers play a larger role in the physical, mental and financial wellness of their employees," says Travis Freeman, President of FSFE. "Our personal finances haven't become simpler over the last decade; they've become more complex. Employees will seek out employers that offer these types of valuable benefits."

The survey also included information on Employee Assistance Programs, 401(k) plans, overall financial topics and workplace financial education. The full survey is available for public download at http://www.FSFE.com.
