MIDDLETOWN, R.I., July 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- KVH Industries, Inc., (Nasdaq:KVHI) announced today that Chris Holm has joined the company to drive strategic leadership in key human resources initiatives supporting KVH's growth. He assumes the title of vice president of human resources, a newly created role within the company. From its headquarters in Middletown, Rhode Island, KVH has a global presence that includes offices around the world. In the past two years, the company's annual revenue increased 45 percent, and the number of employees grew from fewer than 400 to more than 500.

Mr. Holm, a Connecticut native, has extensive experience directing human resources efforts across the U.S., Europe, China, Malaysia, and India. During his 20-year career, he has lived in China, consulted for a Paris-based company, and held top human resources positions with companies in Connecticut and New York. He is based in KVH's headquarters.
